Marine gearbox:

The marine gearbox is a kind of transmission device that realizes speed change through the meshing of large and small gears. It has many applications in the speed change of industrial machinery. The large gear is installed on the low-speed shaft in a marine gearbox, and a small gear is installed on the high-speed shaft. Through the meshing and transmission between the gears, the process of acceleration or deceleration can be completed.

The role of marine gearbox:

Maintenance:

1. When changing the oil of the marine gearbox, special oil should be used to keep the waste oil. If oil leaks, deal with it immediately.
2. Preservatives and waste oil should be stored separately.
3. Other corrosive, not easy to decompose, and toxic parts should be properly handled after replacement.
4. When the noise of the marine gearbox or fan exceeds local requirements, relevant maintenance should be carried out.
5. All pollutants should be treated and the turbine should be operated in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Daily use:

1. Regularly check whether the installation foundation, seals, and drive shafts are normal.
2. If used properly, be sure to check the oil level of the lubricating oil (observed through the oil window). The high temperature of the lubricating oil should be lower than 85°C. If the oil temperature rises abnormally and abnormal noise occurs, please stop checking and troubleshoot immediately before continuing to use it.
3. Replace with new spare parts and use them after running and load testing.
4. Do not hammer the gearbox housing to avoid damage.
